Reorder, rotate and delete PDF pages with thumbnails, in your browser

Add one PDF (up to 100 MB). Adding another file replaces the current one. Files never leave your browser.

What it is

Organize PDF lets you look at the pages of a PDF, put them in a better order, turn the ones that are sideways, delete the ones you do not need and save the result as a new PDF. It helps when a scanner fed a sheet upside down, when blank pages need to go, or when an appendix should move to the front. After you add the file every page appears as a thumbnail card with move, rotate and delete controls. All of it runs in your browser, so the document is not sent to any server.

How to use

  1. Drop one PDF on the dashed area or press Choose PDF.
  2. Drag page cards into a new order. With the keyboard, focus a card and press Alt with the left or right arrow, or use the arrow buttons under the card.
  3. Turn pages with the rotate buttons on their cards: ↻ turns 90 degrees clockwise, ↺ 90 degrees counterclockwise, on every press.
  4. Press Delete on pages you do not want. They are only dimmed, so Restore on the card brings them back at any time.
  5. Press Save to download a new PDF (name-organized.pdf) with the current order, rotation and deletions.

Rules and limits

  • Card numbers: “Page N” on a card is the page number in the original PDF. Reordering does not renumber it; the saved order is the order of the cards.
  • Rotation: added to the rotation already stored in the page. The content is not redrawn, so quality stays the same.
  • Deletion: applied only when you save. If every page is deleted, the save button is disabled.
  • What is copied: page content and size. Bookmarks, document info and the tag structure are not written, and annotations such as form fields and links may not be fully preserved.
  • Limits: 100 MB per file; password-protected PDFs are not supported.
  • Thumbnails: drawn by PDF.js (Apache-2.0), nearest pages first, and pdf-lib (MIT) writes the result. Fonts that are not embedded in the PDF may look different in a thumbnail, but the text in the saved PDF is not changed.

Examples

Situation What to do
A page went into the scanner upside down Press ↻ twice for 180 degrees
Move the last appendix to the front Drag its card to the start
Remove blank pages Delete their cards, then save
Restore a page you deleted by mistake Press Restore on the dimmed card (or Undo right after deleting)

To join several PDFs first use Merge PDF, to cut one into several files use Split PDF, and to turn a set of images into a PDF use JPG to PDF.

FAQ

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. Drawing the thumbnails and saving the reorganized file both happen inside your browser. The file is never uploaded, and only the result you save is written to your device.

Can I undo a deletion?

Yes. A deleted page does not vanish from the list; it is dimmed. Press **Restore** on its card to bring it back, and deleted pages are left out only when you save. **Undo** (Ctrl+Z) takes back just the last change, and **Reset** cancels all reordering, rotation and deletion at once.

Does rotating change my original PDF?

The original file is never touched; a new PDF is created. Rotation is added in 90-degree clockwise steps on top of the rotation the page already has, so a page that was already sideways ends up in the direction you chose. The page content is not redrawn, so quality is not affected.

What about password-protected PDFs and forms?

PDFs that ask for a password to open are not supported yet, so remove the password first. A PDF that opens without a password but has editing restrictions (security settings) cannot be used either; it gets its own message. Saving it again with Print → Save as PDF in a PDF viewer often works. Form fields, links and bookmarks may not be carried over completely. The pages look the same, but fields may no longer be fillable and links may break, so check the saved file.

Does it work with PDFs that have many pages?

Thumbnails are drawn only for the pages near the screen, one after another, so long documents open fine. The file limit is 100 MB, and a document of several hundred pages may take a while to preview and save. For big documents, split first with Split PDF and organize the parts.
