Photo Collage Maker — Combine Images Online
Browser tool that joins photos side by side, stacked or in a grid and saves one collage
Runs in your browser · nothing is uploaded
Drop the photos to combine here
Up to 30 JPG, PNG or WebP files, 50 MB each. You can also paste a copied image with Ctrl+V (⌘V on a Mac). Nothing leaves your browser.
Every photo is scaled to this height (px). Leave it empty to use the smallest photo, so nothing is enlarged (1000px).
Add at least two photos.
The file is named collage-WIDTHxHEIGHT. JPG uses quality 92; a transparent background is kept only in PNG.
The picture is redrawn, so the original EXIF data (camera, time, GPS location) is not carried over; the photo's rotation is applied. Nothing is uploaded.
What it is
A collage maker that joins several photos into one picture. Put before-and-after shots side by side, stack screenshots into one long image, or gather holiday photos in a neat grid. Photos of different sizes are scaled to a common length so the edges line up, and you choose the spacing and the background colour.
How to use
- Drop the photos on the dashed area or press Choose photos (up to 30).
- Set the order by dragging the cards or with the arrow buttons; Remove drops a photo.
- Pick a Layout: Side by side, Stacked or Grid. A grid also has columns, a cell ratio and a cell fit.
- Set the Common length, Spacing, outer border and Background colour. An empty length uses the smallest photo.
- Check the preview and the result size, choose the format and press Save collage.
How it works
- Side by side: every photo gets the common length as its height, its width follows its ratio, and the photos are placed left to right.
- Stacked: every photo gets the same width and they are placed top to bottom.
- Grid: a cell is the common length wide and its height follows the cell ratio (1:1, 4:3, 3:4 or 16:9). Fill crops whatever overflows around the centre.
- Spacing and border: spacing is the number of pixels between photos; the border option adds the same space around the outside. Empty space gets the background colour, or stays transparent in PNG.
- Size limit: a collage beyond the device’s canvas area or side cap (32,767 px, 16,384 px in Safari, kept on the safe side because browsers differ) is scaled down evenly.
- Saving: the file is named
collage-WIDTHxHEIGHT, JPEG uses quality 92, and the photos’ EXIF data is not included.
Examples
| Photos | Layout | Common length | Result (10 px spacing) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1600 × 1200 and 600 × 800 | Side by side | 600 | 1260 × 600 |
| 1600 × 1200 and 600 × 800 | Stacked | 400 | 400 × 843 |
| 4 photos | Grid, 2 columns, 1:1 | 500 | 1010 × 1010 |
To trim photos before combining them use the image cropper; to turn the collage into a PDF use the JPG to PDF converter.
FAQ
Can I stack several screenshots into one long image?
Yes. Choose Stacked and every picture is scaled to the same width and joined from top to bottom, which is handy for chat or long web page screenshots. Set the spacing to 0 for a seamless join.
How are photos of different sizes matched?
Side by side gives every photo the same height, stacked the same width, and the aspect ratios are kept. Leave the common length empty to use the smallest photo, so nothing gets enlarged. A grid uses equal cells with either Fill (edges cropped) or Show all (adds margins).
How many photos can I combine?
Up to 30 at a time. If the collage would exceed what the browser can draw, the whole collage is scaled down evenly and the size line says so. The area limit is 16,777,216 pixels on iPhone and iPad and 100 million elsewhere, and because browsers differ in how long a side they can draw, the tool caps one side at 32,767 px (16,384 px in Safari) to be safe, so a very long stack of screenshots is shrunk to that length.
How do I change the order?
Drag and drop the cards, or use the arrow buttons on each card. With a keyboard, focus a card and press Alt with an arrow key.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Reading, combining and saving all happen in your browser.
